If you are with your tag and hear random tones, please follow these instructions to resolve this issue. It will take approximately 2 to 3 minutes to complete.
1) Using a quarter, please remove the back cover.
2) Remove the battery. If the battery does not easily pop out, you may need to use the tip of a pen to release it.
3) With the battery removed, locate the two metal springs inside of the battery compartment.
4) Gently pull up on the two metal springs. Do not pull the springs straight up, as they will break off. If done correctly, the metal springs should now look like the image below.
5) Reinsert the battery, with the plus sign facing up and snap the back cover onto the tag.
This minor adjustment will resolve the random beeping issue and also make it easier to remove the battery in the future.
