This article applies to you if you own a YIP Smart Tag that works with Apple Find My.
To ensure that you have access to most up-to-date features, please make sure your firmware is updated. To update your firmware, your iPhone and tag must be next to each other.
1. Open the Apple Find My app on your phone and tap the "Items" tab at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap on the name of the tag you would like to update and scroll to the bottom of the page. If a firmware update is available, there will be a link below the firmware version that says "Update available". Tap on the link and your tag will begin the update process. The firmware update has completed when your tag plays a tone.
Note: If there is no "Update available" link, then you are on the most current firmware version.
