How to factory reset your YIP Smart Tag
1. Using a quarter, remove the back cover.
2. Using your finger nail, pull back the battery tab and press on the battery at the 5 O'clock position. This will cause the top of the battery to release. Once the battery has been removed, wait 10 seconds.
3. With the tip of a pen or small screw driver, press down the reset button. While holding the reset button down, insert the battery.
4. Immediately after inserting the battery, you will hear three tones, and the LED light will begin flashing. Your tag has successfully been reset and is now in pairing mode. It will stay in pairing mode for 10 minutes. If 10 minutes has elapsed and you have not paired your tag with an iPhone, you can place the tag back into pairing mode by removing the battery, waiting 10 seconds, and reinserting the battery.
